Engineering for Families is a six week afterschool activity for KS2 children and their parents and carers. Each week families are encouraged to solve real-world engineering challenges based around 5 engineering disciplines. During the course families develop their understanding of engineering and develop their collaboration and creative skills.
The activity can be delivered using simple and easy to obtain equipment. There is an accompanying teacher guide video to help you implement the activity.
