Introduction to primary career-related learning

Career-related learning in primary schools is about broadening pupil's horizons, challenging stereotypes and helping them develop the skills and sense of self that will enable them to reach their full potential.

Career-related learning in primary schools includes activities designed to give pupils a wide range of experiences of education, transitions and the world of work. Early career-related learning can have a lasting impact on pupils' perceptions of different occupations and how these link to learning in school.

I have been delighted to be part of this project which has proved to broaden young people’s horizons and aspirations for the future.
